About Real Clear Daf
Our Mission
Real Clear Daf’s mission is to provide a free Gemara learning experience on all of Shas that empowers all who want to learn to achieve their learning goals. RCD achieves this goal through its one-of-a-kind shiurim that cover the entire Talmud Bavli. RCD’s shiurim put a special emphasis on using clear and concise language to guide the listener through the Gemara’s chain of reasoning in a calm manner that is pleasant to the ear. With RCD’s mobile app on in the car (for Apple and Android), an otherwise aggravating commute becomes a pleasurable immersion into the beautiful world of Abaye and Rava.
Meet the Magid Shiur
Rabbi Shmuel Wise is the dedicated maggid shiur for Real Clear Daf. Rabbi Wise is a graduate of Chofetz Chaim Yeshiva of Rochester (TIUNY) and a devoted student of TIUNY’s Rosh Yeshiva, R’ Menachem Davidowitz. Rabbi Wise brings his love of Torah and the articulateness he learned from his rebbi to the shiurim of Real Clear Daf.
